We have a place just for the kids! Come and learn about Jesus, have fellowship with others their age, and have fun while doing it all!

At Park Avenue UMC, we are committed to providing a welcoming, loving and warm environment where children can come to know God…to learn how to worship Him, pray to Him, love Him, serve Him and tell others about Him. Through our various children’s ministries programs and activities, our goal is to help kids build a foundation of faith that will take them through adolescence and into adulthood.

We have Sunday School for all ages, including a nursery for infants and toddlers up to age 3 years. We believe Sunday School is the #1 place where children come to know the transforming love of Jesus Christ! It is where the seeds of faith are planted in their hearts and minds. Each week, our teachers prepare a lesson from curriculum that provides a variety of hands-on Bible activities that help kids learn and experience the Bible in ways they can understand. Children are challenged to take God's Word to heart and apply it to their daily lives.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)  - This annual summer event is held each year, usually in July. It is open for toddlers through 6th grade. Some of our themes have been Space Mountain, Scuba, Bug Safari, Lava Lava Island, Polar Expedition and Fiesta! No matter what the theme, VBS is one of the highlights of our summer!

Our United Methodist Women usually meet the first Saturday of each month beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Isy Bell's Cafe on N. Main Street in Mooresville. We first enjoy a dutch breakfast and time of fellowship together.
