2023-24 Season starts in September and will continue to May with the exception of January. Following dates will be announce and are mostly the first Friday of the month. All are welcome to come for our Drive-Thru ONLY dinner. Enjoy handpicked chicken & homemade dumplings with sides of doctored green beans, sweet potatoes and small sides of coleslaw and applesauce. At Park Avenue UMC, we are committed to sharing the love and presence of Christ with people both near and far. NOWW is Nurture Outreach Witness Worship- through all these we share with all people.

We do this with the following on going partnered ministries: 

Go yearly to Jamaica to help with kids- do a VBS with children through the Methodist Church, Sons of Thunder. Travel there to share God.

HOMe: Hope of Mooresville House provides temporary, safe shelter and support services to Mooresville homeless women and children.

Park Avenue UMC collects ladies personal items for the Maidens and Matrons Boutique ministry at Freedom Christian Center in Mooresville. This will be an ongoing outreach ministry of the church. Each month we will be collecting NEW Bras, Panties (any size) and feminine hygiene products. Please have your items at the church by the 2nd Sunday so they can be delivered to Freedom Christian Center before the 3rd Saturday shopping day. The Freedom Center then lets less fortunate women shop for these in the boutique and get a special experience that they may not nomally have access to otherwise.

Felicity Manor is a future Residential Care Facility located in Mooresville, NC where a small group of widowed women live together in a home setting enjoying companionship, have activities and have daily doses of the Holy Spirit. Our building team constructs ramps at local homes in the community to provide safe and convenient accessibility for those confined to wheelchairs or unable to use stairs. The building team's skills are also used to assist with small construction projects or to make minor home repairs.
